This was a fun exercise for a mini game! You can navigate the car with your keyboard or by dragging it around :). Mines appear and animate on a random path, and although the collision detection is done a bit hacky it seems to work!

I wonder how the collision detection could be done differently? In this example I generate a new mine layer and with Utils.delay check the y and x position of that mine.
