Solved: you can in fact assign states to and animate SVGLayers built in Design once you Layer.select("<name>") them in Code.

========

Hey folks, is it now possible to assign states to complex shapes and animate them?

I’m trying to design a shape using boolean operations in Design, and then change its state with Code.

I can only target Frames in Code, but those can’t be edited beyond a rect with a borderRadius.

I can access my SVGLayer with Layer.select(), but it doesn’t seem like you can animate that in Code.

Has anyone achieved this? Any tips?

Thanks and have a great Friday!

You were almost there. Animate is a function instead of an assignment. And you should use fill instead of backgroundColor.

polygon.animate fill: "red"
