Is there a way to create custom components that can be reflected/manipulated in Design mode? Basically symbols for Framer?

For instance, suppose I'm designing a simple email inbox like iPhone Mail's. I'll want a list component, and inside that list I'll have an item component with a consistent layout from item to item.

Of course that's doable purely in Code, or in Design via brute force (making the item, copying it, modifying all the copies as the design changes).

But it would be cool to be able to:
(1) Put together the item layout in Design
(2) Specify it as a reusable component with editable properties (similar to symbol overrides in Sketch, but also as member variables in Code)
(3) Create the list component in Code, and turn that into a symbol/component too, with properties like # items, background color, whatever
(4) Drop an instance of the list into Design and either edit their properties there, or in Code, or supply a JSON type structure for the item data.

Is this doable in Framer? Or, any plans to support it?

I'm also working on a Symbols-Module:

It's still pretty early stage, but I'm actually working on a big update right now, which will make this pretty usable ;) Hoping to release it today or tomorrow!
