The tricky part of making this thing work was figuring out how to map the lightness values so that they can be 100 in the top left, 50 in the top right, and 0 on the bottom left and right

Would you consider recording a code breakdown / walkthrough and talk about how you worked your way through this problem for newer folks like me? I think it would be very helpful for a lot of folks

Yeah in a few places I was like where the hell did you come up with that number from. You should def places those in a variable with a somewhat descriptive name.
