Anyone else just update and then encounter a weird bug where "style="zoom:2;" is no longer applied to some text layers?

Niels, can help you out

Could you give a specific example? It's true that the TextLayer is under active development, so I might have broken some stuff in the process

Before the update, the button text was the correct size and now the layer no longer has any style attached to it. Other TextLayers that are the correct size in my prototype are displayed as "<div style="zoom:2;">Text</div>". For some reason now a few of my text layers are just "<div>Text</div>".

Are you using the Design tab or code to create the TextLayers? And which update do you mean? That of the Framer Library?

Stanley Yeung

Just code. v96(9475). It asked to update my file after i updated. Once I updated my file a few errors started to appear. This being one of them.

Ah makes sense now. Could you try and copy-paste your code over to a new project created with this version and see if that solves it.
I'm really curious about your project now, because I tried to make the new TextLayer (which you just upgraded to) backwards compatible, but there are obviously some bugs that need to be sorted out.
Could you share the project or just a snippet of a TextLayer initialization that doesn't work as expected?

I dug around some more. It looks like if you specify a height for a TextLayer, the zoom style is no longer applied when you view it.

Stanley Yeung

So seems like 3 changes/bugs. 1) normal layers can no longer receive text. 2) if a TextLayer has both a height and a width specified, the style="zoom:2"; is not rendered. 3) If you use a class component, you can no longer retrieve/print the "text". Notice the undefined when I try to print it with the third example.

Could you share this test project as well? Is much easier that re-typing it :)
