Any help? Still stuck on this problem!
I don't know the *exact* reason, but animations were not responding setting a 'y' co-ordinate value.
I added an 'onAminationEnd' event initially and found I could update the 'y' value of the image *after* the animaton had ended, but that looked weird.
Resorted to refactoring, and adding a 'growPot' wrapper layer, and making that the parent of the image before executing the animation.
Once that is done, the animation scales the image to correctly fill the screen.
