Hey everyone, do you know if there is a way to display your web prototypes with browser chrome? It seems to be missing from the device list.

So you mean a browser window inside the browser-window?

Tyler Smith

Those are devices, not web browsers. If you want to display your web prototype in Chrome, I believe you can just publish it, and use the link in the browser of your choice.

Could also screen shot your browser, and make that a layer in your prototype on the appropriate device size.

Thanks!

Framer.Device.deviceType = "desktop-safari-1440-900"

Still have no idea why the safari devices don't show up in the studio menu

Also I think Koen or Jonas made a windowing system if you wanted to use that. It's resizable and all that. :)

Lol at the fact that the arrow points right but the menu appears on the left.

I think that this is more of a concern for mobile prototypes. If you build a desktop web prototype to be full canvas, when you open it in a browser you get the 'real' browser chrome.

in the same way, if you open a mobile web prototype on a phone, you see the phone's browser chrome. However, if you open a mobile prototype on a desktop, you lose the iOS/Android browser chrome within the emulator.
