Hey there!
I wanted to know if it was possible to access the proximity sensor from an iphone or android device with Framer. Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance!

That feature is only available on Firefox for Android. It's not stable so I wouldn't recommend it. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Proximity_Events

You might be able to get clever and fake it in someways using accelerometer and maybe some of the meta data in the GPS info.

Thanks to both of you for your answers and links I will dig more into it :)

Might be fake-able on Android using the front-facing cam (which is pretty much broken atm), depending on what you're trying to do.

Detecting a covered / non-covered state should be fairly easy by naïvely analyzing the cam's color-values. Anything above that resolution might be hard, if not impossible.
