Hi, How do we access variables dynamically from a for loop. For example, I am defining 4 variables and then trying to assign layers to these variables like this but its not working: B1="" B2="" B3 = "" B4 = "" for i in [0...4] B+i = sketch.Buttons.subLayers[i].subLayers[0]

Hey guys, How do I do a mouseOver that includes multiple layers? I have a panel that slides out onto the screen with a bunch of icons on it when you mouseOver it. I'd like it to retract when I MouseOut of it. Unfortunately, going over an icon within the panel (icons are child layers of the panel) triggers the mouseOut and the panel retracts even though I am still over it. Any workarounds?

Framer JS Don't you feel that "Made with Framer" is a little too much, intrusive, big? I understand but is killing the idea of sharing... I just think that it should be more subtle: left, bottom, closed by default... some transparency... Thank you!

I've started with framer.js today and it's awesome! Now i wanna try the "framer preview" app on my smartphone but it doesn't show my open project in the app. My iPhone6 (iOS 10.1.1) and Macbook pro (Sierra 10.12) are in the same WiFi. Does the app works for you?

Hey guys, building my first multi-page app. Im sure this is a common comment but I am still struggling. As far as I can tell, there is no type of storyboard, thus, all layers exist on an infinite canvas with most being obscured. This seems really annoying but im sure that just my design head butting up against coding. However, what I cannot get over is how on earth you easily add elements to these invisible pages. For instance, say I want to add a button. Do I simply create the button, attempt to find the correct X and Y ... navigate to that page in the previewer and repeat? This seems so odd that I must be wrong? Can I not create files for each page instead and transition to them or something similar?

Hey everyone, I'm super new to Framer and trying to recreate something I've seen in Foursquare, is anyone able to share a project where it has similar functionality to the attached screenshot? - When you swipe the location card at the bottom, the relevant map pin also highlights. It's on a sort of carousel effect but have so far been unable to recreate using a superLayer. Any help is much appreciated + I'll owe you a beer or two next time you're in London. Thank you!

Quick update on FramerCasts: For the early stages I reduced the Pro price to just $5 dollars. $9 was a bit steep when there are only a limited number of videos. In return, please leave some feedback on how I can improve the quality or content, either in the comments on the videos, here, or direct email from the contact link. And for the pro video of the week: Framer user Ashwini Purohit submitted a request for help to try and clean up this prototype, including using states and a lot of depth adjustment during state swaps. In this 17 minute video I go through the file line by line, refactor, explain, and update the prototype.

Just a note to consider: The trial expires without warning while you are in the middle of writing the code and it does not even allow you to save your work :( Maybe you should just let the user save the file so that when they buy the license, they don't have to do the hard work again.

Hey guys, recently I've encounter some problems with nested pageComponents, also did some experiments. Here's something to share: First I tried a 2-D pageComponent. Add pages both to the right and bottom, so I have a 3col*5row grid. This would lighten the nested structure. By adding directionLock and threshold, it would scroll only in one at a time. I also disable the horizontal scroll while it not at top row. So it looks like a three separated columns. And I dived a little deeper and added subPage at col3-row2. This subPage would scroll horizontally. I added some switches(.content.draggable.enabled) on the pageComponent so that the subPage and the superPage would not interfere with each other. I think it'll be useful for present contents with swipe gestures, on a watch maybe. It looks fine so far, but still has one minor problem. On page col3-row2, where the subPage is inserted, it fails sometimes, and swipes not as smooth as other pages does. I don't know what the cause is yet.

Has anyone had troubles with Sketch import and layers having strange offsets? I recently found that a layer placed at (0, 0) in Sketch, with a shadow of (0, -1) blur: 16 will be place in Framer at x: 16. For now I have eliminated the shadow, but is there a way to force an import with the "true" location rather than offset due to shadow?

Does anyone out there use Framer as scaffolding almost to assist their developers or other team members in mocking up prototypes? For instance, if you have a standard style guide that all of your web apps should follow, but not enough UXers to help mocking up prototypes - does anyone use Framer as a pipeline where the entire style guide is essentially in a Framer file with modules and editable pieces that the developers can just go in and modify copy/elements? Not sure if that completely makes sense, but let's say you have all of your elements/styles/interactions for your apps set up in Framer modules -- a developer could take that file and just modify navigation items in the app.coffee file, call and position buttons, bring in form elements, etc. A (hopefully) fast way to mock something up without using developer resources to actually code something. The setup is there - so the button animations would be programmed in modules and the developer would just need to call the button and position it, but not worry about what is the standard animation used in your apps. tl;dr -- does anyone use one standard Framer file they reuse across apps and what tips do you have for that? Or even instances of where it doesn't work, where it works best, other ways you've figured out how to reuse it? Thanks!

Hey! I'm creating a iPhone prototype that needs two different locked orientations, one for the UI, one for the media player. (Think the Netflix app) The best way for me to do this would be to have one section locked as portrait, and then switch locations to landscape when I'm in the video player. Is this possible? The really crappy way - but so far the only way that seems possible in Framer - is to do portrait mode (locked on the phone) and literally rotate every single thing for the media section, including all assets I'm working with in Sketch. Help pls!

On the left there is what I see in web preview, on the right there is preview from framer. Basically, it's the same difference whenever I launched it in Safari vs Opera/Firefox/Chrome. Any idea why it happens? Also, place see how the yellow layer works - it is place before blue layer in Opera/Firefox/Chrome, yet is not in Safari. http://share.framerjs.com/g4waxfbyb2ko/ Code quality is bad, yet I am trying to understand why it happens and dunno how to solve it. Prototype is trigged by clicking anywhere on blue layer at first, afterwards its on mouseenter/mouseleave.

Hi guys, I'm having some issues dropping my proto into an iFrame... (I know iFrames come up a lot on here, I've dug through them and still can't find an answer... :/ ) My project has a cube, which I created by parenting all the sides to the layer "cube" and rotating them. When I use the share link, it displays just as it does in Framer studio. As soon as I drop that link into an iFrame, suddenly I can only see what is visible within the "cube" layer (so, basically, just the one corner of the cube.) I did find that if I specify a device in Framer Studio, then everything shows appropriately in the iFrame except I really don't want it on a device, just the canvas. any thoughts? Here's the framer link: http://share.framerjs.com/daulhd64ewq3/ and the iframe code: <iframe src="http://share.framerjs.com/daulhd64ewq3/" width="900px" height="900px"></iframe>

Question. I've set up 2 scroll component. One that goes vertically the other goes horizontally. For the vertically scroll component I generated a series of cards and dynamincally named them ie. card 1, card 2 etc. for i in [5..0] list = new Layer name: "card" + i width: 1080 height: 700 y: 710 * i backgroundColor: "rgba(211,251,255,1)" I am trying to parent my horizontal scroll component within card1 but it doesn't seem to work. Is it possible to nest a scroll component within a layer thats apart of a another scrollComponent (ie.vertical scrolling list)?

Hi, I made a draggable layer that's bouned to its dragging contraints. It works for the most part, but the layer flys off the screen when I "flick" it even though it bounces back to the origin as defined. How can I make it so that the layer doesn't fly of the screen? What did I miss?

Hey guys! I'm having some trouble trying to make something draggable in fake z space. I need the black dot to be constrained to the grey rectangle (layer named dragZ) note: all of this is constructed isometrically with rotation values... I have the constraints of the dot set to the dragZ layer, and it is *technically* working, except it's not reflecting that the layer dragZ has been rotated. My dot drags within the non-rotated area of dragZ... any help appreciated! Thanks! project link: http://share.framerjs.com/xxo5sg3znxld/

For example I want to add a onClick event for "next_btn" in artboard "home", but a different event for "next_btn" in artbord "page". Hey Framer team. I missed today's Seattle meetup to focus on fixing a bug, but I hope what I found today helps someone else. There's a new issue with the new animation engine... I'm sure I'll dig these changes in the future, but right now the new animation api is causing me quite a number of issues. Here's what I found: There seems to be a bug with the 'momentum' attribute of draggable elements. If the momentum is running, it will ignore all other .animate instructions. I uploaded a demo. And I recorded a video because it's difficult to explain. Drag the gray square below the pink line, and release it leaving it to slide with momentum. See how the momentum comes back *after* the animate instruction. I'm 100% sure this is not what happened before the update. If you know of a quick fix please let me know. Thanks! http://share.framerjs.com/0xbilbywjfqe/

Framer has deprecated the layer.states.add syntax in favor of layer.states = . In light of this is it possible to add states to a layer which already has some? For example layerA.states = show: opacity: 1 and then later layerA.states = hide: opacity: 0 So far this kind of thing seems to overwrite rather than append layer states. Is there another way?

Hello Framers! This week's free video at FramerCasts hopefully gives some clarification on a question that comes up here often: Loops and Events. I know it's easy, but i can't implement it. And one more question. On photo page when i tap the share icon - box with options slides from the bottom and the screen below becomes overlaid. I made an event that closes the box when i tap overlay, but if i tap on the box - event is also running. So,how to avoid it? Oh, I forget to tell. Only the last one photo in the feed is clickable.

OK, Framer-ers, I'm trying to write a module, but I'm not finding anything that really helps me understand what I need to do. The guide attached here only goes so far - where I'm trying to make a module that generates a media player, but that has multiple layers in it, the properties of which might need to be manipulated by the end user after the module / media component is generated. I can't work out how to expose ALL the layers created in the module so they can be accessed in Framer, while also generating and nesting them inside the module. For example #in module file class exports.MediaController extends layer constructor: opts.name ?= 'mediaController' #other opts scrubberBar = new Layer parent: @ width: @width #other properties #in framer MediaContainer = require 'videoPlayer' mc = new MediaContainer.MediaContainer scrubberBar.backgroundColor = "FFF" # framer says 'variable scrubberBar not found' but see the picture - it's visible in Framer! Help, please. Modules confuse the hell out of me. https://medium.com/bpxl-craft/developing-a-framer-module-dbf6a7d6ffc9#.1lrp8mkzx

I found this Framer.js Prototype which is exactly what I am searching for: http://share.framerjs.com/pt8x1bj42s6k/ However, when I download the project there are errors. The "Layer" element is undefined. Do you have the same issue? How can I fix it? Thanks for your help!

Hi there! Sometimes I create a layout for my prototype directly in FramerJS. Since I am used to design a layout with a grid (this is the most important and useful design tool) in my visual editor (Sketch) I decided to create a grid module for my favourite prototyping tool. Get it — https://github.com/Volorf/Gridddle

INBOX Scroll + Swipe + More Demo: http://jrdn.io/d5wD Here's some code I shared at the Framer JS Seattle Meetup 04 yesterday! I mentored the advanced and intermediate group talking about code structure, using / adding modules, creating classes, drawing with CSS, dealing with varied pixel densities, directionLock, collecting sublayers as properties of a superLayer and using the new custom property on layers. The features in this demo include: • Swipe left only • Blocking right swipe • Cell removal from list • Click status bar to scroll to top • Shy navigation bar • Adding a confirm for frameless in case you don't have it Jay. ;) • Mousedown cursor state change via cursor module • And a few others... see if you can find them. I hope you find this useful and feel free to ask questions if you have any. In the near future I'll post this and a few other updates to http://framerco.de Thanks! #framercode

Looking for a simple way to hide a navbar on scoll down, reveal when scrolling up... been trying with the screenshot, but this doesn't work as any minimal motion triggers the animation (including "bounce" animation curve) is there a module or some simple script I can use for this? Thanks

Hi Framers! I'd like to share my first contribution to the Framer community as a whole - I've created a module for a video player that you can put in any prototype. It has UI and code controls and you can even use a callback when a video has ended to do something like move on to another view, or call a new animation or whatever. I have NOT done extensive testing, so it's likely to be buggy, but hey, all feedback is welcome. Anyway, I hope some of you find it useful!

I had a few questions come in after the previous FramerCasts episode on setting up the flexbox layout using imported files. To help explain it in detail I made a full project containing everything from importing all the way to refactoring and creating our own FlexContainer class that can be put into a module. It ended up being so long I broke it down into multiple parts. Here's part 1!

Trying to create a simple animation when tapping on an image and cycle through 3 states. got the file set up, add states and click event – see image attached...but I keep getting this error "[framer.js] ReferenceError: Can't find variable: LinearAimator". Can you please help me with that? Thank you!! :-)

I have yet to try a Touch Bar in real life, but the concept of having a new interaction input with direct visual feedback on macOS sounded too exciting for me not to do something about it. After I tried the Touch Bar simulator in Xcode I felt the brightness control would behave differently than it did, and then I tried to recreate what I imagined. The prototype should work well on desktop and on the iPad. http://share.framerjs.com/ifu3dmxsw9zp https://dribbble.com/shots/3089877-Touch-Bar-with-Brightness-Control If you tap the button it shows the progress bar, and you can drag the knob to wherever you want. But the next time you open the panel, the knob will always coincide with the current value in the progress bar, meaning that if you're at 0% brightness, you can only go to the right. It may seem strange at first because we're not used to this type of behavior, but if you simply focus on your intent to slide the button to the left or right to get decreased or increased brightness, I think it feels natural. I also created the whole keyboard and MacBook Pro in Framer. This was because I wanted to train drawing things using code and to get a bit more acquainted with classes, so it was the perfect situation.

Q: Can i make 1 state with multiple layer properties or do I have to set each layer with multiple states once an event occurs? Newbie. Thanks:)

Stewart Murrie
I'm trying to create states based on the names of other layers, like this: layer.states["someOtherLayer"] = x: 50 But I get an odd error: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined. According to the Framer docs, this should work. And indeed, the example they provide works fine: for i in [1..3] layerA.states["state#{i}"] = y: i * 200 But, if I change that middle line to take out the loop index: for i in [1..3] layerA.states["state"] = y: i * 200 Then the error returns. Am I misunderstanding something, or is this a bug? (I'm pretty new to Framer & CoffeeScript).

Hi! Since my developer is in the USofA and I’m facing a deadline (myself just being a non-coder...): I’ve learned that Framer COULD do transparent video before, but not at this time. True? Tried to find a workaround, without success. Thought animated GIF (play once) might be a solution. When I throw it in the window, it runs, and stops of course. Q: is there a way to make it play again on a touch event? Note: I do not need a detailed explanation for now, just need to now if it is possible. Really would solve a serious issue... THNX!!

Hi everyone ! I've been using framer for a year now. Thank you all for the great work ! I stumbled across the Context Class on Github : the few lines of comments tell me I can create a context and basically keep a hierarchy of layers in it, but I've never had any good occasion to use this class (create a new context and use it…). Someone has got an example ? I'm curious ! Cheers !

UPDATE: Solved—block interaction if your scroll content is moving (see comments). A Framer update is coming to improve this as well. ———— Hey Framer friends, do you know a way to prevent a Tap Event from being triggered when scrolling in a Scroll Component? I am building a calendar and I only want a day to be selected when I explicitly tap a day—not if I scroll slowly and release. The video (kind of) illustrates the issue: quick scroll/flick does not trigger a tap event, but a slow scroll and release does. Any hints on how to solve this? Thanks a lot!

Some small things: 1. Figma importing things with *'s to flatten gives you "_" in your layer names. 2. Framer.info or Framer.metadata? The snippet uses "metadata", the default project says ".info" 3. Figma imports require you to write "figma.LAYER.animate" to access the auto animation layout. With globalLayers(figma), it'd be nice to have it detect that I'm calling LAYER.animate and make it draggable. Less typing ;-)

After almost a year working on my Framer skills, I did last week a talk on it to a non-developer, non-designer crowd of project managers, scrum-masters and entrepreneur. An article was published about it (in Polish, Google Translate works well) here: http://www.scrumdo.pl/2016/11/recenzja-konferencji-product.html?m=1 I am now consequently curious to know the feedback that you all received from non-designers when you presented them Framer! Hello fellow Framers, I've been playing around with a binary function that opens a layer if both options are unselected and I so far I've found this: http://share.framerjs.com/98htmxm9aidf/ This only does a half of what I need though. Basically, I need something along the lines of this: if tile1 is active - tile2 is inactive - LayerA.width= maxWidth (call it 750 for ex.) else if tile 2 is active - tile 1 is inactive -LayerA.width= maxWidth ( " ) else if tile 1 is inactive and tile 2 is inactive -LayerA.width= 0 I feel like the solution is really easy, I just can't seem to find it. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello Guys, Im having a problem with the window / document object when mirroring on an iOS devive. I need to use the window or document object for a scope problem with another JS Plugin. My Prototype works perfectly fine on mac, but as soon as I mirror the projekt to the Framer iOS App / mobile Safari or mobile Chrome i get Type Errors all over the place. The exact error for all object: TypeError: undefined is not an object(evaluating 'document.xxx') Again the exact same project works on the Mac perfectly fine! I have the feeling that the iOS Webkit handles document. and window. differently than on macOSx is there any hack / fix for that? Would it work on Anroid maybe?

Hey everyone, I’m new to Framer (thoroughly enjoying it so far!) and in the process of making an app wireframe prototype for user testing. It includes a map view with various POI points across it. However, I’m having difficulty setting up the map layer itself. Hope somebody might be able to help? See http://share.framerjs.com/i8h3y08twv56/ for a clean demonstration of the issue. I only need a single layer image of a map for prototyping purposes. I’d like the map layer to be scrollable AND pinchable, which is where the problem arises. The mapScroller.content layer constraints do not seem to update on pinch, which means that the scrollable area stays the same whether the content is scaled in or out,. To replicate the problem, do the following: 1. - Scroll left and right, you will only be able to scroll up to the edges of the image layer (over dragging is disabled) - this is desired behaviour. 2. - Re-center the map and pinch-out to zoom in to a sale around 4x as printed in the console. 3. - Try to scroll left and right. You can only scroll to the edges of the original dimensions of the image, meaning that you won’t be able to scroll to the edges of the illustration, let alone the map layer itself. This is undesired behaviour. I would like the user to be able to scroll al the way to the layer’s edges (and no further), even if they are pinched in to a 4x scale. The inverse happens when you pinch-inwards to zoom out to a scale of 0.6. Because the content width and height constraints do not update to the smaller image dimensions, you can drag the entire image layer partly off the screen. I would like the constraints to not allow the user to be able to scroll off the edge of the map, even if they have scaled out to 0.5. I have tried to solve this problem by: -Making the map layer itself pinchable rather than the content. But this has the same problem; the mapScroller.content won’t update to the new size of the map layer. Using this method I would also be challenged to organise the POI points (I’ve added a POI to show what i’m after, somewhere in the middle of the map) - so if this was part of the solution I would have to wrap the map and POIs with another abstract layer to keep everything in. -Calling mapScroller.updateContent() which doesn’t seem to update the constraints. If I hover over map in the inspector, I can see that it’s x, y, width and height have all changed to reflect the scale, but the original dimensions are always printed in the console, which is what the mapScroller.content also uses as it’s scrolling constraints. -Using an existing dragging example here: http://share.framerjs.com/nl07nufelqe4/, trying to dynamically resize the constraints frame upon pinching. I reduced the scaleFactor so that it is the resizing of the layers themselves which predominantly cause the scaling effect. It’s getting there, but quickly starting to blow my mind when I think about keeping it all proportionally displayed in the viewport, let alone adding POIs. Also layerA’s size doesn’t get updated And pinching back in to zoom out again seems to be giving weird results. So I think I’ve run out of talent for the time being! I’m not a programmer by trade, so fully expecting that I’ve missed something quite obvious, or not realising that actually I need maths abilities way beyond mine :D. I saw a member mention mapBox further down the timeline but, having never used it before, I’m worried it might take more time than I can reasonably invest in setting up for now! I could make this so that the layer isn’t pinchable but when I add POIs I’d like to user-test with different POIs being visible at different map scales according to importance so there isn’t too much on the screen at once :) If anyone can "pinch in" with an idea to help me get this working I’d be really grateful!

Wish list: inspector properties always appearing within the viewport It's super rad that I can cmd-point to elements in my prototype and get their x/y properties. It can also be super frustrating when trying to get the scrollY-value of an element that is taller than the viewport, because the properties appear to be pinned to the bottom of the element all the time.

Hey everyone! Need a bit of a nudge from someone who knows/have found a way around this problem before. I've managed to work out how to change/link states of individual objects in an array with other arrays using a simple for loop, however it's only working with common states for only the button that has been clicked. My idea is that when you click "menu"tile -> contArray[0].y=0 and contArray[1].y=243; and when you click "login" tile -> contArray[0].y=-243 and contArray[1].y=0 in other words, they both slide in the same direction and the non-selected content is invisible (i.e. clipped)

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that we just shipped v75! This update was all about improving the speed and efficiency of Framer, especially when it comes to large prototypes. We also gave the app a visual refresh with a new syntax theme, light layer panel styling and more. A special shoutout goes out to Johannes, Kim, Charlie and Jordan for sending us their large work files. This was a huge help in helping us locate and improve on problem areas in the codebase. We fixed lagging issues for most of you, but if you run into any problems, please do let us know! For now, take a look at the blog post to get details on everything we changed —

Hello guys~! I was wondering whether it is possible to simply "disable" pagination in a PageComponent (to make it behave like a simple ScrollComponent, say). So far, my best solution was to insert a ScrollComponent that is as wide, and then disable scrollHorizontal for PageComponent. Do you know of any other possible approach? I had look at the component's code, but I didn't see anything that could help me in this case. (https://github.com/koenbok/Framer/blob/master/framer/Components/PageComponent.coffee)

Hey all, I'm using Jordan Robert Dobson's InputField module, and when I mirror on my iphone, the whole visible screen layer jolts downward and then back up whenever I select the field to input text. Any idea if that can be fixed? Module:

Feature Request: Progress indicator of upload when you share a Framer Prototype (especially if it's bigger than a couple of MB or so.) My prototype constantly times out, then I'll get random notice that it somehow succeeded (it has large video files in it). It would be great to be able to see just how close it is getting to completing or some other feedback fro troubleshooting.

I'm tired of making pure animation prototypes, because it leaves tediously long codes. So this time I introduce you a bookshelf prototype, let just get back to interactive things. Here's the link: http://share.framerjs.com/t0fcyc592ajj/ Don't delete too much books at a time! Two or three is good. I've kept the codes under 500 lines. I think this will be a helpful reference for beginners. This prototype includes following features: 1. Long press a book to enter editing mode. 2. Switch between normal and editing mode. 3. Book selection and shows the number of selected books. 4. Delete multiple books. 5. Plays an animation when deleting books. 6. Rearrange books automatically after deletion. 7. Recalculate height and position of scroll component after deletion. If you like it, please give me a like on Dribbble, thank you very much! https://dribbble.com/shots/3116835-Bookshelf

Has anyone integrated TinyMCE editor or similar into a prototype?

Does anyone know why a scroll component won't adjust when one of its layers' height is increased later on? for example, this doesn't work: scroll = new scrollComponent layer = new Layer _ height: Screen.height _ superLayer: scroll.content # ---- later ---- # layer.height = BiggerHeight I have to take it out of the scroll component, change the height and then re-add it to get it to work: # ---- later ---- # layer.superLayer = "" layer.height = BiggerHeight layer.superLayer = scroll.content

_.invoke(layer.subLayers, "destroy") Koen Bok posted this script earlier this year. I was wondering how to use it and I can't find it in the docs. https://www.facebook.com/groups/framerjs/permalink/793926687401071/

Hi, Framers. Need some help. I want to run my prototype in Chrome on Android (for compatibility reasons with getUserMedia) and I've discovered the 'FullScreen API' https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Fullscreen_API So if I run this code inside my framer prototype, and bind the behaviour to a hidden button, i can send my prototype full screen. Trouble is, when I do this on Chrome for Android, the prototype zooms in and acts like it's on desktop! Any thoughts? How can I send it full screen in mobile android, but also make it fit the new fullscreen port?

Jordan Robert Dobson - Hey there, recently discovered your device pixel ratio module - looking at coffee script, it has a list of device names. But this device list doesn't match those available in Framer Studio Is this moot because the list you've constructed is comprehensive and matches all devices, or does it need an update? https://github.com/jordandobson/framer-DevicePixelRatio/blob/master/DevicePixelRatio.coffee

Hi guys, I've been lurking this group for a while now but dove into framer on a daily basis only recently. Benjamin Den Boer suggested I'd post one of my first projects and I would love to hear what you guys think. I'm still fairly new to this so bare with me on the clunky code, would love to see some feedback! You can check out the full prototype over here http://share.framerjs.com/zlcvqjargdjq/ Or find me on Dribbble over here https://dribbble.com/jurrehoutkamp

Hi everyone. I searched the group i couldn't seem to find this problem already stated, so here it goes. http://share.framerjs.com/sspcc8333re9/ I'm creating a custom slider component as a time picker and I want to have two slider knobs. I can't seem to add another knob that will work with the framer component.

Hi guys! I can't get the Utils.globalLayers to work. I've tried with "Utils.globalLayers = psd" but it does nothing, and I've tried with "Utils.globalLayers(psd)", but that gives an error, saying it's not a function. Have I misunderstood the usage? I'm starting my file with: psd = Framer.Importer.load("[email protected]") I can easily access the layers using psd.bg and so on, so the importing is working fine.

Has anyone attempted to integrate a canvas drawing library with framer? I could use some help to figure out how to set a library like this up: http://soulwire.github.io/sketch.js/ Simply drawing items underneath the pointer can't keep up with your movements and is not effective because it's drawing a ton of layers. I think the best way would be to basically draw an svg polyline by tracking the x/y of the pointer event. Anyone have experience doing this or can help me implement this library?

Here's two things I demoed last night at the 14th Framer JS Seattle meetup. Much thanks to Marc Krenn for the Particle module and Callil for the inspiration for the Touch Tracker prototype.

Working with mapbox and wondering if anyone has an idea on how to add a framer layer to the mapbox map layer. I can add layers via: https://www.mapbox.com/mapbox-gl-js/api/#Marker but would be much better to be able to write the markers with framer layers. Any pointers would be great!

Is it possible to prototype on the cursor? ... like using custom images, events and animations on it?
